Dear Parents,

With the end of Semester fast approaching our teaching staff have been busy writing student reports. For many of our foundation and new families our reporting program will be unfamiliar to you. With this in mind we would like to give you the following information to try and make it as easy to understand when you receive your child’s report via PAM. 

The report sample above is for a student in Foundation. The red line indicates the curriculum's expected level of achievement for Semester 1 and where your child sits in relation to this. This is indicated with a C (Current Judgment). 

The report is prepared by your child’s teacher and represents their professional opinion, informed by data from assessments.  This report, as well as the Parent Teacher Interviews early next term on Monday and Tuesday 17th & 18th July are an important part of working together for the benefit of your child’s learning. 

Please Note, Homegroup B interviews will take place on 14th and 15th August once Ms Rachel Braun returns from leave.  

Booking information for interviews will be shared with you via PAM by Friday, please see the attached letter for instructions on how to book your interviews. These interviews will be 20 minutes in duration and students are expected to come to the interview to share their learning goals with you. 

To access your child’s report please view the picture below, you will also receive a notification via SZAPP when these are available.

Today our boxes filled to the brim with bread bags were returned and our School Leaders were overwhelmed by the amount of bags we managed to collect!

 

Please let us assist you by following the below steps for linking your PAM account to the home screen of your device. 

STEP 1. Launch Safari on your iPhone or iPad. 

STEP 2. Navigate to your PAM account via your link 

STEP 3. Tap the Share icon (the square with an arrow pointing out of it) at the bottom of the screen. 

STEP 4. Scroll down to the list of actions and tap Add to Home Screen. (If you dont see the action, scroll to the bottom and tap Edit Actions, then tap Add next to the Add to Home Screen action. After that, you'll be able to select it from the Share Sheet). 

Whilst the students do their best to stay warm and dry this Winter, there may be those odd occassions where a slip or fall occurs whilst out in the yard. 

We encourage all parents to pack the below items as spares for your child. 

(School Uniform is very limited in sick bay, if your child does return home with a borrowed item please wash and return at your earliest convenience).
