Students have begun their big individual project in Visual Arts which is a textile weaving project. Everyone has made a fantastic start to their weaving and it is wonderful to see the persistence being shown with this challenging task.

Home Group M and H are creating a butterfly weave which will turn into a hanging butterfly.

Home Group B and TP are creating a God's Eye weave by weaving around the four sticks to create a bit like a spider web. They are going to turn this into a hanging weave by adding some tassels and a pom pom.

Home Group L are creating a dream catcher weave using a CD as the loom base. They will be weaving both sides of the CD to create a 3D creation complete with tassels or pom poms of their choosing.
