Performing Arts
It was with lots of excitement that I was able to share the news of Mrs Hatch's baby boy Clancy's birth with students in Performing Arts this week!
Home Group's 1 and 2 have both begun their exploration of emotions. We have been looking at how people show emotions and have brainstormed that people use their facial expressions, body language and voice to show others how we feel. We've been using snippets from the Pixar movie 'Inside Out' and using the five characters from it. Students have used their facial expressions and body language to show what these emotions look like for them and have talked about and acted out scenarios that have made them feel a particular way. In a world full of masks, we've been looking at how the eyes can also tell a story about how a person is feeling. Can you guess our emotions from the photos below?
Home Group 3 have been completing some wonderful remote learning in Performing Arts and I commend all those students who have been submitting their work weekly, well done guys! I look forward to having you all back in the Performing Arts room when you return to school full time shortly.
