I hope you all enjoyed the Virtual Arts Show which showcased the amazing work our students at St Angela of the Cross have created so far this year. While I know it is not the same welcoming you all in for an in person Art Show, I am proud of the way it showed off the student's amazing art work. It is such a pleasure to witness the positive attitude all students bring with them to the art room and I love facilitating the fantastic work they have all produced! Students will begin to bring home their artwork over the next few weeks and will be able to share their amazing creations with you in the flesh. 

We have a busy term ahead of us with trying to finish off some work we have started but also creating new masterpieces. Our first project will be to finish off our Softies, Olympic soft toy mascots. All students have designed and cut them out and now begins the fun of decorating and learning to sew! We can't wait to share the finished products with you. When our softies are finished, we will be exploring some Indigenous artists and how Indigenous artwork tells a story. Students will create their own piece of art that tells a story about them. To finish off the term all students will create a Christmas Nativity decoration to hang on your Christmas tree.
