Our clay monsters and fish have been returned from the kiln and they all survived - well done everyone on your fantastic pinch pot creations! We are yet to paint them but the excitement levels to finish them off are very high.

At the end of last term we also completed our collage artwork and wow, they are fantastic! St Angela of the Cross has some fabulous artists here! 

This term in Visual Arts to link with what students are learning in their classrooms, our main project will be creating a soft toy mascot. We will be exploring what a mascot is and why we have them; with the main focus on the mascot for the 2021 Tokyo Olympics 'Miraitowa'. Students will learn some basic sewing techniques and will use a variety of materials to create their mascot.
