The students are all having a great time exploring clay and its properties. They have been learning the finer details of making items out of clay and about how important it is to get it right so it doesn’t explode in the kiln! It was so wonderful to hear many of Home Group 1 had been practicing with play dough at home- a big thanks to all the parents who went out and bought play dough especially for this! Last week the students all made their pinch pot ready for decorating in this weeks art class. It is fantastic to see the improvement all students have made when working with clay.
